• October 2005 - Wind turbine goes into operation at Ft. Berthold, ND to provide power for Four Bears Casino.
• August 2005 - Native Wind becomes majority owned by Native Americans

• June 2004 -- Obtained Department of Energy grant to build 80 MW of tribal wind power in North and South Dakota including:
  • Wind assessment on participating reservations
  • Funding for training of Native Americans in wind energy development
• February 2003 - Construction of the 750Kw Rosebud wind turbine
• Contract with Native Energy for sale of green tags
• Contract with US Air Force to buy green tags
